These terms apply to the Litly early alpha. By creating an account you agree to them.

Alpha software

Litly is experimental. Features may change or break without notice. Do not rely on it for irreplaceable books or urgent lending needs.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
Only list books you are willing to lend and honor borrow requests you approve.
Arrange safe, consensual handoffs with other users. Litly does not supervise in-person meetings.
Do not upload unlawful content or harass other users.

Location and discovery

Map coordinates are used so verified users can discover nearby libraries. You are responsible for choosing coordinates that reflect the level of location precision you are comfortable sharing.

Catalog scanning (beta)

Shelf photo upload uses automated OCR and may produce incorrect titles. Review candidates before importing them into your library.

Limitation of liability

Litly is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost books, disputes between users, or damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms during alpha. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
